We have received a lot of questions from aspirants who said they mistakenly input their REGISTRATION NUMBER instead of EXAMINATION NUMBER and asking what they can do.

Please note that if you fall into this category, you will need to make a correction to it right on your portal by paying for Correction fee payment.

Didn't Meet Up With The Department Cut Off Mark? Read This

It saddens a lot of aspirants who applied for the Full-Time form and were not able to meet up with the department cut-off mark.

A lot of question have been flying over our platforms (Poly Ibadan News) to know what else they can do. Here is the good news.

If you apply for the full-time form and didn't meet up with the department CUT OFF MARK, don't be sad anymore as there is a good news. For all aspirants who applied for full time and didn't meet cutoff, you can still apply for the DPP ( Daily Part-time Program ). Check here to know what Daily Part-time Program means and Check here to know how to apply for DPP.

2018/2019 Screening Date Admission Exercise For ND & HND aspirants

ND
According to the Poly Ibadan Management, the Poly Ibadan Admission Cut Off Mark will be used to admit the National Diploma Students. If your Jamb score is equal to or higher than the cut off mark for the course you want to read, you will be considered for Admission. If it is lower than the cut off mark, your admission might not be considered. It is very likely that this may be the only requirements to Admit ND students as there won't be screening or exam for ND.


HND 
This is to inform all HND aspirants that the post-screening exams have been scheduled to start from Wednesday 26th to Friday 28th September, 2018 at the Polytechnic Ibadan ICT CENTRE.

Please find attached the roster for the 2018/2019 POST ND Screening scheduled for Wednesday 26th - Friday 28th September 2018 at the ICT Center. (Beside Wema Bank) The Polytechnic Ibadan.

You are kindly enjoined to be at the venue by 7:30am and 12:30pm for the Morning and Afternoon shifts respectively.

All HND full-time candidates are expected to be at the venue by 7:30am.

Registered HND candidates should visit the portal from TUESDAY 25TH SEPTEMBER, 2018 to reprint their acknowledgment slip to ascertain their CBT scheduled date.

ND STUDENTS SHOULD CHECK THEIR PORTAL

The polytechnic Ibadan 2017/18 Aspirants The Polytechnic, Ibadan ND admission seekers who's changed the institution to first Choice are enjoyed to check their portal on Monday 23/10/2017.

That's memo sent by The Board Of Studies of The institution to each Department. 

They are sitting tomorrow over the admission stuff.

DIDN'T MEET CUT OFF MARK? APPLY FOR DPP

For those that did not meet the cut-off mark (polyibadan HND Cut-off mark), don't give up just yet. You still have a way forward. 

Polyibadan now has HND-DPP for all departments, and if you already obtained full time form but didn't meet the cut-off mark you can cross to DPP or PT for a token, these forms is also available for fresh aspirant.

You will only need to pay additional 5 thousands (#5,000) naira to complete the DPP registration. Please note that if you have not apply for the full time before, you will be paying full payment for the DPP registration.

HND ORAL INTERVIEW SCREENING DATE & REQUIREMENTS

The Polytechnic, Ibadan Oral Interview screening for qualified HND candidates had been scheduled as follows:

HOW TO LOG INTO YOUR PORTAL - POLY IBADAN

We have heard of several cases students are finding it difficult to log into their respectives portal on polyibadan website.

This post will give you full description on how to log in to your portal.

STEP 1.

• Go to polyibadan.edu.ng on your web browser.

STEP 2.
Stroll down a little bit. If you are using mobile phone, you should see it as you scroll down. If you are using computer, you should see it by your left hand side of the school website as shown below

Note: If you are a new aspirant seeking for admission, you will need to chose the second option which is Admission Portal. You will only be allowed to access the Student Portal if you are through with all your clearance and registration to make payments for school fees and hostel fees, register courses, Print, Edit, or Reprint their Receipts and Course Forms.

1. STUDENT PORTAL - is for the current students of the institution and for those who have completed their clearance and ready to make school fee payment.

Fill in your details such as required and click on the LOGIN button to log you into your portal.

2. ADMISSION PORTAL - is for new student seeking for admission into the institution

Choose your respective level and you will be redirected to a page where you will REGISTER if you are just applying for the form or to LOGIN if you have register before.

If you are already registered, you can log in to portal right away as shown below

Fill the required form and you will be directed to your portal.

3. DAILY PART-TIME PROGRAMME - is for daily part-time students.

If you are seeking for admission, click on START NEW DPP APPLICATION FORM NOW as indicated by the red arrow in the above picture or click on LOGIN TO DPP ADMISSION PORTAL TO CONTINUE REGISTRATION as indicated by the blue arrow. You will be directed to a page where you can log in or register as explained above in the ADMISSION PORTAL session.

INFORMATION FROM THE ADMISSION OFFICE

In sequel to the various misconceptions of the meaning of the recent Broadcast made by the Institution (Ibadan poly) to all her aspirants for the academic year about changing to first choice or so.

A source from the Admission office affirmed it that the Institution has crossed the Rubicon, every aspirants that applied for full-time OND application form must change their First choice of Institution to *The Polytechnic, Ibadan* to pave way for them a larger percentage of securing admissions.

The Institution also buttress on the fact that some aspirants had chosen a university for their first choice, but made it clear that it is either your university or *The Polytechnic, Ibadan*, of which they echoed it clear that this is to reduce the year in year out conflicting issues as regards her students with jamb office. They said the change of institution is also not compulsory but necessary.

On this note, I beseech unto all aspirants who truly need admission into TPI, Ibadan to gladly proceed to change their first choice of institution to *The Polytechnic, Ibadan* in their own interest.
